Abstract:In this paper the International Earth System Science Partners with a focus on global environmental change, its background, the roles it plays in the scientific cooperation, and in the studies of multidisciplines and syntheses at higher levels as well as the on-going joint projects are briefly described, which would have a profound significance for the developments of Earth Science and broad biology.
