Abstract:By anlyzing the conjugate concept, system framework, dynamic mechanism and cybernetics of the ecological security, this paper discusses the research approach on strategic management and construction of regional, urban and rural, and population ecological security. It argues that ecological security means not only the survival stability but also development sustainability, not only the safety of environmental structure but also the harmony of ecological relationship. Besides the measurement through natural ecological risk and negative threat from human ecological stress, ecological security should also be measured by positive regulation of natural ecological service. Eco-security could also be enhanced through human construction besides safeguarding by natural restoration and conservation.
