Abstract:After more than a century of development, psychological science has become a frontier discipline in contemporary sciences. Social development hastened the birth of the psychological science, and in turn, psychology played an important role in the critical periods of social development, and effectively promoted the stability and development of society. At present, psychology in China is facing the opportunities and possibilities of rapid development. It should be taken into consideration to integrate the study of multiple disciplines such as social sciences, psychological and behavioral sciences, brain science, genetics, and information science, and, aiming at the important psychological problem in the harmonious development of our society, to study some important issues such as mental health, coping with major social events, and psychological factors and cognitive mechanisms affecting social harmony from the individual, institutional and cultural dimensions respectively.
