Abstract:On the basis of the demands of China for grain increase in production,and the analysis of the potential of grain increase in production in medium and low production regions around the Bohai Sea,and by adopting the effective production increasing measures formed during the long-term practice in this region by many scientific research groups including CAS,the present paper proposes the strategic conception for constructing the "Bohai Granary",from the height of the State grain security and recommends the CAS to unite the Governments of Hebei Province and Shandong Province to apply for establishment of the project to be ratified by the State.
