Abstract:The cyberinfrastructure for science and innovation of Chinese Academy of Sciences(CAS), including the high-speed network, supercomputing, and data storage facility, has made rapid progress in last more than ten years. It has been boosting a range of scientific innovations in CAS. This paper analyzes the trend of the international cyberinfrastructure, reviews the development of the CAS cyberinfrastructure and its applications, and presents its development opportunities, challenges, and the future direction.
