Abstract:This article has two parts. It first analyzed Silicon Valley Internet innovation model from the history
of Stanford University, the policy of U.S. federal government, and the innovation engine role of large companies.
Then it relates the Silicon Valley model with the current status of Internet innovation in China as well as
its short and long term goals, and proposed several suggestions on how to improve Internet innovation in China.
