Abstract:Starting from the understanding of the standardization, this paper analyzes the important role of standardization in supporting the social and economic development in China, and puts forward that the development of the standardization should specifies the mandatory standard, recommended standard, standard formed by social organizations, and pushing forward the enterprise standard through markets. The improvement of the standardization will help the transformation of economy and government function, provide support to the implementation of enterprises’going out strategy and the construction of the country with higher quality.
