Abstract:The corresponding author is a special type of signature and has special academic misconduct. The corresponding author's responsibility is to complete the corresponding of the paper, and its improper signature is manifested as inappropriate labeling, infringement of other authors' right of authorship, and failure to fulfill the corresponding author's obligation. Good design of corresponding author system can effectively prevent academic misconduct such as improper signature, but the existing corresponding author system is not competent. The reform should be carried out from three aspects:establishing the rules for signing corresponding authors, perfecting the reward mechanism for corresponding authors, and implementing the contribution statement of co-authors. Through the fine division of roles, just reward mechanism, scientific responsibility distribution, and other ways to reduce disputes, promote cooperation.
