中文摘要: 中国荒漠化扩展的态势已经得到基本遏制,科学改善荒漠化地区人与自然的关系以推动区域可持续发展,成为新时期中国荒漠化防治的重要需求。文章总结了荒漠化地区可持续发展4项重点挑战,包括水资源利用量增大、土地利用程度增强、气候风险持续增加、产业创新动力不足,基于对人与自然耦合关系的理论认识,认为荒漠化防治中的人与自然关系演化可以分为“粗放式开发、边开发边治理、区域联防联治、借自然之力”4个阶段,并提出了开展旱区系统性科学研究、推广基于自然的解决方案、强化全球旱区人与自然研究合作网络等未来科技攻关方向。

Abstract:The expansion trend of desertification in China has been fundamentally restrained. In the new era, scientifically improving the relationship between human and nature in desertification areas to promote regional sustainable development has become an important demand for desertification combat in China. We summarize four key challenges to sustainable development in desertification areas, including increasing human demand on water, increasing land use intensity, increasing climatic risk, and insufficient industrial innovation. Based on the theoretical understanding of the coupling relationship between human and nature, the evolution of humannature relationship in combating desertification can be divided into four stages, namely, extensive land exploitation, exploiting land while combating desertification, regional joint combating desertification, and exerting the force of nature. Three important scientific research directions are proposed, including conducting comprehensive and systematic scientific research on dryland, advocating naturebased solutions in dryland, and strengthening the global dryland human and nature research cooperation network.
