        中国古代数学具有悠久的传统。本文论述了中国古代数学的算法化、机械化特征及其对世界数学发展主流的历史贡献,并指出了解中国古代数学发展特征对于现实创新活动的借鉴意义。

        Mathematical tradition in China can be traced back to ancient times. This paper discusses the algorithmic and mechanical characters of Chinese classic mathematics and its historical contributions towards so-called main lines of the development of world mathematics. Author emphases the practical significance of understanding those characters to the knowledge innovation of mathematics.
