        区域经济一体化是经济全球化不断推向深入的必然结果,是区域寻求更大发展优势和发展空间的必然选择。着眼于国家批复的《关于支持福建省加快建设海峡西岸经济区的若干意见》和福建省人大审议通过的《福建省建设海峡西岸经济区纲要(修编)》,本文从福建省区域经济发展的历程入手,基于海峡两岸经济整合内、外部驱动力的分析,论证了海峡两岸地缘经济一体化不仅是海西经济区发展战略重点、也是我国在经济全球化和区域经济一体化进程中的重要战略选择的观点。从台湾经济发展对大陆依赖性的解剖、两岸经济在世界经济体系中的竞争优势和地位等探讨了海峡两岸经济一体化的雏形,并进一步在明确区域发展定位、确定闽台合作的具体领域、强调加快现代服务业发展等4个方面提出了海峡西岸经济区发展的战略重点。

        Regional economic integration is the inevitable result of the continuous deepening of economic globalization,and the inevitable selection for the regions that are seeking more development advantages and spaces.With a view to the newly approved two documents about the construction and development of Haixi i.e.,West Bank of the Taiwan Strait Economic Region,and based on the analysis of the regional economic development history of Fujian region and the internal and external driving forces of economic integration,this paper expounds and proves the viewpoint that the geo-economy integration of both sides of the Taiwan straits is not only the strategic key point of Haixi,but also the strategic selection of China in the process of economic globalization and regional economic integration.In addition,this paper discusses the prototype based on the analysis of the dependence of Taiwan on China Mainland,and the competitive advantage and status of both sides of the Taiwan Straits in global economy.Moreover,the strategic key point of the development of Haixi were proposed from four aspects.
