Abstract:In last two years, each big Internet giant continued to accelerate the pace of expansion of its mergers and acquisitions respectively, by virtue of its monopoly position in the search, e-commerce, instant messaging, and social networking. Integration of industry chain and the formation of industrial ecosystem become an important means to enhance their overall competitiveness of the Internet giant. In our opinion, freeze of capital markets, fierce competitions of mobile Internet investment market, and the Internet giant restructuring the industry ecosystem to accelerate the integration of industrial chain, are the main causes of concentrated outbreak for merger and acquisition of domestic Internet industry. Finally, we put forward seven policy suggestions for accelerating the integration of Internet enterprises’mergers and acquisitions.
