Abstract:Strengthening poverty alleviation and supporting ambition, to fundamentally inspire the endogenous power of the poor people, is the remarkable characteristics of Chinese special poverty alleviation and development, and is also an important measure to win the battle of poverty alleviation. Women are the key objects and important forces of poverty alleviation. The article reviews and summarizes the practices and achievements of the "double support of ambition and intelligence" poverty alleviation in Hure Banner of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, implemented by the Women's Organization of Beijing Branch, Chinese Academy of Sciences. It also analyzes the current situation and problems of the poor women and children in Hure Banner, and discusses the new models and methods of poverty alleviation, such as psychological poverty alleviation, "Internet & science popularization" poverty alleviation, scientific and technological measures poverty alleviation, and establishment of special poverty alleviation fund for "double support of ambition and intelligence".
